Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Academic Counsellor from an educational or teaching background in science (preferably with experience in Biology, Chemistry, or related subjects). The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students about SIMM's training programs, career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, and assisting them through the admission process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students and parents about SIMM's training programs and career pathways in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Understand student interests and academic backgrounds to suggest suitable courses.
  • Handle inquiries (walk-ins, calls, and online leads) and maintain follow-up communication.
  • Participate in seminars, webinars, and academic outreach programs to promote SIMM courses.
  • Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, leads, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to ensure students receive guidance and support throughout their training journey.
  • Assist in admission documentation and onboarding of new students.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and training program updates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Science (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Ed. preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in counselling, teaching, or academic advising.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the pharma, healthcare, or education sector will be an added advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi (both written and spoken).
