Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive manual testing including functional, smoke, regression, end-to-end, and integration testing.
  • Develop and document test plans, test strategies, and other necessary documentation for project work.
  • Collaborate effectively with QA Analysts, QA Managers, Client SMEs, Business Analysts, Developers, and other team members.
  • Manage client-facing activities from the QA perspective, including conducting walkthroughs and defect triage.
  • Ensure timely execution of testing activities across the SDLC to prevent project disruptions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the defect lifecycle and Agile methodology.
  • Proactively identify and flag risks, assisting in issue resolution to avoid project delays.
  • Mentor and train junior testers, conducting peer reviews on project artifacts.
  • Utilize test management tools such as Jira, Test Rail, or similar for effective test management.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adapting to shifting priorities and competing demands.

Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in Manual Testing and QA processes
  • Knowledge of Postman for API testing
  • Proficiency in creating test plans and test strategies
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (Jira, Test Rail, or similar)
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and defect lifecycle
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage client interactions

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
