Role Purpose And Skills Required
We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our Apigee team in India, bringing with you a broad range of experiences and a passion for modern development technologies and practices.

Our Platform is at the heart of this, to allow our digital channels to quickly develop new and improved applications based on secure, reliable and scalable services, based on a cloud-based micro-services architecture.

What you'll need
…

• Design, Develop and deploy RESTFul APIs using Apigee Edge/X/Hybrid.
• Implement API Proxies, policies, security, traffic management and caching.
• Work with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications for API documentations.
• Implement OAuth2,JWT,API key and SAML-based security policies.
• Setup custom policies, JavaScript, Python or Java Callouts.
• Troubleshoot and debug API issues(Latency, Errors, security vulnerabilities, etc)

Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications

• Apigee Development experience
• Proficient in Javascript.
• Experience of Agile delivery methodologies, understanding of SAFe would be an advantage
• Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence etc

Working within a Scrum squad, you'll refine, plan and implement user stories ensuring the quality and integrity of the platform and solutions through appropriate technology, standards and best practice. You'll strive to continuously learn, develop and improve the services and your own skills

You'll Be Responsible For

• Hands on development of API proxies using Apigee Edge/Hybrid/X.
• Driving the quality and performance of owned apigee proxy, through the use of standards and best practices.
• Establishing a culture of continuous improvement through learning, training and coaching.
• Ensuring quality is at the heart of everything you and your team does.
