Position: Purchase Coordinator
Location: Coimbatore
Salary: ₹20,000 per month
Experience: Minimum 2 Years Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and services.

  • Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate terms, and maintain healthy vendor relationships.

  • Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and related documentation.

  • Monitor stock levels and track inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and cost-control measures.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.

  • Collaborate with internal departments such as production, stores, and finance for seamless operations.

  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.

  • Support the Purchase/Procurement Manager in preparing periodic reports on procurement activities and cost savings.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement coordination.

Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/Purchase management systems.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

  • Ability to analyze purchase data and prepare reports.

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle supplier-related issues effectively.
