
Purchase Coordinator

**Procurement Planning**:
- Collaborate with department heads and project managers to determine procurement needs.
- Analyze inventory levels and consumption patterns to forecast future requirements.
- Develop and maintain procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
**Supplier Management**:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and other factors.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and service agreements.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and address any issues or concerns promptly.
**Purchase Order Processing**:
- Generate purchase orders accurately based on approved requisitions and contracts.
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure adherence to budget constraints and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with finance department for payment processing and invoice reconciliation.
**Inventory Control**:
- Track inventory levels and conduct regular audits to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Coordinate with warehouse or logistics team to manage inventory movements effectively.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Generate reports on procurement performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory metrics.
- Provide regular updates to management on procurement activities and performance indicators.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting procurement processes.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in purchase department.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
