Role and Responsibilities:
The Oracle DBA will be responsible for managing Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Data Guard, Golden Gate, and Shareplex. They will be involved in AWS Cloud support and migrations, and will participate in a 24X7 on-call rotation schedule for various production support, database maintenance, housekeeping, and installs. The candidate should be able to manage triage events, including reactive remediation of performance issues, as well as performing proactive maintenance to prevent future performance issues. They should also be capable of implementing database security measures as needed, such as monitoring, auditing, encryption, and masking. Additionally, the candidate should prioritize and manage multiple work streams and projects with minimal supervision, and have experience with Oracle RAC in a production environment, including install, configure, patch, backup, support, and tune databases in production. Knowledge of Amazon RDS for Oracle RDS and Amazon EC2/EKS for managing Oracle instances is desirable. The Oracle DBA should also have experience with Oracle patching, writing and tuning SQL, Unix/Linux OS tunables with respect to Oracle DBs, Oracle Performance Tuning (P&T), proactive and reactive database monitoring, troubleshooting skills, providing technical support to application development teams, Oracle security, audit and security compliance, and an understanding of storage technologies and networking.

Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with proven work experience as an Oracle Database Administrator or a similar role.
