Elevate is recruiting Team Lead for our eDDR Document Review Team, as a Team Lead, you will be responsible for efficiently running and validating pre-defined SQL and Python queries for various projects. You will be required to develop new queries for process optimisation and automation of various tasks and customer requests. You will also analyse the data to recommend and implement improvements to enhance productivity. This role requires hands-on expertise with the Excel, SQL and Python.
Specifically, the Team Lead will
- Perform day-to-day operations (monitoring and maintenance, problem investigation and resolution, backup creation and maintenance, database tuning, etc.).
- Independently analyse and correct issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Evaluate business data and recommend appropriate analytic approaches/strategies to achieve stated objectives.
- Provide statistical analysis to develop, test, and optimize databases to their full potential.
- Build valuable and efficient reporting for deliverables.
- Analyse existing SQL queries and suggest new ones for performance improvements
- Create scripts and procedures for data migration and offer timely scheduled reporting
- Create regular reporting summarizing key metrics and trends to key team members and Management.
- Establish best practices for a growing team of SQL Developers.
- Effectively prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Drive results and leverage past experiences to improve the environment and related processes.
Skills for success
- This Operations Admin's role is to support the eDDR business unit in document review and data breach projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to converse with all staff and management levels.
- Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and a high problem-solving aptitude.
- Able to work as a team player with Application Developers, Database administrators, and operational personnel.
Experience
- 4-5 years of direct experience in SQL and Python
- Proficient in Advanced Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of large, relational databases and data structures.
- Proficient in standard business and database software, including MS Office, MS Access.
- Experience on working with North American customers. Flexible on the working hours to provide some customer time zone coverage .
- Someone to lead in the development of SQL databases for various applications and business uses. Should be experienced with data building and Management to develop and scale based on the organization's needs.
- Skilled SQL/Python developer who can write queries, customize reports and procedures, and modify planning to enhance organizational productivity.
- Write SQL queries and Python scripts to analyze a range of data. You should be a quick thinker, highly organized, and able to troubleshoot issues that can come up during day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science/applications, or equivalent MIS field
