Job Descritpion of Google Data Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Google Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-based data solutions on GCP. This role involves end-to-end ownership of data architecture, development, and delivery, with opportunities to grow into a Cloud Data Architect position.

Must-Have Skills

  • 5+ years of overall experience in GCP, Python, and SQL.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud data services (Google Spanner, BigQuery, SQL).
  • Strong background in data service design, build, and configuration.
  • Proven expertise in Python and SQL for large-scale data solutions.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Google Cloud certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, configure, and optimize data services on GCP.
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation and artifacts (e.g., Software Design Documentation).
  • Perform unit testing to validate functionality and performance.
  • Define and design data architectures to support scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with operations, technology teams, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.

Project Details
