Role Summary

Our Client is seeking a Data Engineer (Python + GCP) to join their team in a contract position. This hire is crucial for supporting ongoing growth and innovation within the company. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

Desirable Skills & Experience

About the Role:

Join a leading data engineering and cloud solutions provider as a Data Engineer in Chennai. The role focuses on building and optimizing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using Python and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Skills:

*Python & Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)

*Pipeline orchestration: Airflow (DBT knowledge a plus)

*ETL/ELT workflows

*Big data frameworks: Spark, Hadoop

*Streaming tools: Kafka, Pub/Sub

*DevOps/DataOps: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

*Infrastructure management: Terraform or Isa

Roles and Responsibilities:

*Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows on GCP using Python and BigQuery.

*Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for smooth data ingestion and transformation.

*Manage pipeline orchestration primarily with Apache Airflow; DBT knowledge is a plus.

*Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources.
