Job Title: Commi 1 – South Indian Cuisine

Location: Sector 32, Chandigarh

Experience Required: 3–6 Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present authentic South Indian dishes (e.g., dosas, idlis, vadas, sambhar, chutneys, curries, etc.) with high quality and consistency.
  • Ensure adherence to recipe standards, portion control, and hygiene practices.
  • Assist the Head Chef / CDP in daily kitchen operations and menu planning.
  • Maintain cleanliness, stock rotation, and proper storage of raw materials and cooked food.
  • Support the training of junior staff and kitchen helpers when required.
  • Follow FSSAI standards, HACCP guidelines, and kitchen safety norms.
  • Manage workload efficiently during rush hours while ensuring timely service.

Requirements:

  • 3–6 years of proven experience in South Indian cuisine at a reputed restaurant/hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
