Job Title: Lift Installation Technician

Required: 3 to 8 Years

Location: Bangalore

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift Installation Technician/Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in installing elevators (passenger, freight,) The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing lift installation projects from site preparation to final commissioning, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret technical drawings, layout plans, and installation manuals.

· Carry out mechanical and electrical installation of elevator systems (traction/hydraulic/MRL).

· Perform shaft alignment, rail fixing, door fixing, and other mechanical work as per specifications.

· Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to ensure site readiness.

· Test and commission lifts according to standard procedures and safety protocols.

· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the installation process.

· Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, codes, and internal company standards.

· Maintain accurate records of work done and materials used.

· Report progress and any site issues to the Installation Supervisor/Manager.

· Provide handover documentation to the testing or service team after successful installation.

Requirements:

· Diploma / ITI in Any Stream.

· 2–8 years of hands-on experience in elevator/lift installation.

· Strong knowledge of lift components and installation processes.

· Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.

· Understanding of safety regulations and quality control.

· Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Willingness to travel and work at different project sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with branded elevator systems (Schindler, KONE, Mitsubishi, etc.)

· Basic knowledge of elevator testing and commissioning
