Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Market Researcher
to support our Sales team by identifying new market opportunities, analyzing industry trends, and providing data-driven insights to guide prospecting, targeting, and strategic decision-making.

This is a research-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, mapping industries, and turning insights into actionable sales intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and industry research to identify potential customer segments, verticals, and geographies for outreach.
  • Analyze competitor strategies, customer behavior trends, and product positioning across markets.
  • Build and maintain a repository of key market insights, customer profiles, and company intelligence.
  • Map organizations to identify key decision-makers and influencers for strategic outreach.
  • Monitor and report on market developments, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Strategy teams to fine-tune go-to-market plans based on research findings.
  • Prepare concise research briefs and reports to support targeting and pitch personalization.

Requirements

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or business research – preferably in a B2B or SaaS company.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to extract and synthesize insights from both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
