Position Title: Manager Management Development Programs (MDP)
Department: Executive Education & Corporate Training
Reports to: Director / Dean Academics
Role Objective
To plan, design, market, and manage Management Development Programs (MDPs) for corporate clients, government bodies, and professionals, thereby enhancing the institute's industry connect, brand presence, and revenue generation through executive education.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Planning
- Identify emerging industry trends, training needs, and skill gaps to design relevant MDPs.
- Collaborate with faculty, industry experts, and subject matter specialists to develop program content.
- Structure program modules, duration, and delivery modes (offline, online, hybrid) to meet client requirements.
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate HR/training heads, industry associations, and government agencies.
- Prepare customized proposals, pitch decks, and training calendars for potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, program pricing, and service-level agreements.
Marketing & Outreach
- Work with the marketing team to create brochures, digital campaigns, and promotional content.
- Organize networking events, webinars, and alumni sessions to promote MDP offerings.
- Represent the institute at corporate forums, HR conclaves, and industry exhibitions.
Program Execution & Coordination
- Oversee end-to-end execution of MDPs, including scheduling, venue arrangements, participant registration, and faculty coordination.
- Ensure quality standards in delivery, learning materials, and participant experience.
- Manage logistics such as accommodation, transportation, and IT support for participants and faculty.
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Collect and analyze participant feedback to improve future programs.
- Track and report program performance metrics (enrollments, satisfaction scores, revenue).
- Prepare periodic reports for management review.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in Management or equivalent; specialization in HR, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in corporate training, executive education, or business development.
- Strong corporate network and industry contacts.
- Proven track record in managing training programs from concept to delivery.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with senior corporate leaders and decision-makers.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strategic thinking with a business development mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of MDPs conducted per year.
- Participant satisfaction and feedback ratings.
- Revenue generated from MDP initiatives.
- New corporate partnerships established.
