Sales - financial Modelling (CA)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Modelling & Analysis

  2. Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive financial models to calculate IRR, NPV, and other critical financial metrics for renewable energy investment opportunities.

  3. Collaborate with the Sales team to customize financial models based on specific client needs and project details.

  4. Costing & Budgeting

  5. Lead the development of detailed project cost

  6. Support the Sales team by providing accurate budget forecasts and cost estimates to ensure projects are financially viable and aligned with company goals.
  7. Monitor and track project budgets throughout the lifecycle, identifying areas of cost optimization and ensuring compliance with financial targets.

  8. Develop cost allocation methodologies and ensure consistency in financial reporting across projects.

  9. Profitability Analysis

  10. Conduct profitability analysis to ensure projects deliver sustainable returns while meeting client expectations.

  11. Evaluate the overall financial health of renewable energy projects by assessing key profitability metrics, including gross margin, EBITDA, and return on equity (ROE).

  12. Advise Sales leadership on profitability risks and opportunities, helping optimize the financial structure and pricing strategies for maximum profitability.

  13. Revenue Recognition

  14. Oversee and manage the revenue recognition process for renewable energy projects in accordance with accounting standards, ensuring all revenues are recognized accurately and consistently.

  15. Work closely with the Sales and Finance teams to establish and monitor project milestones, ensuring revenue is recognized in alignment with performance obligations as contracts are fulfilled.
  16. Ensure that all contracts, pricing models, and financial reporting are in compliance with the company's revenue recognition policy and industry best practices.
  17. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure that revenue is reported correctly in the company's quarterly and annual reports.
