Job Title: Team Leader
Experience: 3 to 4 years in CA Firm
Roles & Responsibilities: -
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Team Leader to supervise and lead a team of accountants. This role involves overseeing the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Supervise and lead a team of accountants, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations to foster professional development.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger entries, GST, and TDS compliance.
- Review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and senior management, to analyze financial data, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement accounting procedures, internal controls, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes.
- Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and records, including statutory audits, to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, standards, and industry trends, ensuring compliance in financial reporting, tax obligations, GST, and TDS.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and professional development.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insights and recommendations based on historical data and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements related to financial transactions and reporting.
- Drive process improvements to streamline accounting processes, reduce manual tasks, and increase efficiency through automation and technology solutions.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit findings or recommendations.
- Collaborate with finance and HR teams to support payroll processing, tax filings, and benefits administration.
- Monitor key financial indicators, identify trends, and prepare financial reports for management review.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications: -
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA preferred).
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a CA firm or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory audit processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
