Job Overview:

We are looking for an Account Assistant to join our team to provide support to the finance and accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of accounting entries, working knowledge of accounts, basic knowledge of TDS and GST, and good coordination skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the finance and accounting department with day-to-day tasks
  • Coordinating with reporting manager for financial reports and statements
  • Handling accounting entries for purchases, sales, expenses, and revenue
  • Maintaining records and filing documents related to accounting transactions
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and handling petty cash
  • Handling vendor payments, invoices, and account reconciliation
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Preparing and managing bills and receipts
  • Providing administrative support to the finance and accounting department
  • Other duties as assigned by the reporting manager

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of accounting entries and basic knowledge of TDS and GST
  • Clear working knowledge of accounts
  • Well-versed with MS Word, MS Excel, and Tally ERP
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Must be a quick learner with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Have ability to learn technologies like artificial intelligence
