About MadeTruly

is a service provider for the jewellery industry—think Uber for Jewellery Manufacturing. We help designers (primarily in the US) bring their visions to life by managing the entire production process, from CAD designs to manufacturing and dropshipping.

We're scaling fast and looking for an experienced HR & Operations Generalist to streamline our hiring process and help us identify top talent across multiple functions.

Role Overview

This is a multi-disciplinary role supporting HR processes, operational workflows, leadership & intra team coordination, and smooth functioning of the MT India office. The position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across HR, admin, and people operations.

This full-time role is ideal for someone structured, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering a goal oriented task along side a superior employee onboarding experience. You'll work from our office, closely collaborating with different teams and working across our Tech platforms and our ATS.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Administration (≈35%)

  2. Manage daily HR activities including attendance, leave management, HRIS updates, employee records, and documentation.

  3. Prepare and collate monthly payroll inputs and assist with basic compliance documentation.
  4. Respond to employee queries and ensure smooth internal communication.
  5. Support employee engagement initiatives, culture efforts, and office-wide HR communication.
  6. Maintain policies and ensure consistency in HR processes across teams.

  7. General Admin & Executive Assistance (≈35%)

  8. Provide coordination and administrative support to MT India leadership.

  9. Manage calendars, meetings, documentation, domestic/international travel planning, and follow-ups.
  10. Prepare reports, summaries, presentations, and ensure timely tracking of pending tasks for leadership.
  11. Oversee daily office administration: vendor management, procurement, facilities coordination, and expense tracking.
  12. Serve as a point-of-contact for external partners, vendors, and internal teams for operational tasks.

  13. Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & People Operations (≈30%)

  14. Support selective hiring across Operations, CAD, Manufacturing, and Business/support teams (TA forms ~20% of the role).

  15. Conduct initial screening, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate pipelines via Workable, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Slack.
  16. Liaise with external recruiters/agencies and maintain structured hiring workflows.
  17. Own the onboarding process end-to-end: documentation, induction, orientation, equipment coordination, 30/60-day follow-ups.
  18. Prepare onboarding kits, checklists, training schedules, and ensure a smooth new-hire experience.
  19. Maintain employee lifecycle records, confirmations, exits, and internal transfers.
  20. Continuously refine onboarding and people processes as MT scales.
Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Admin, People Operations, and General management (preferably in jewellery, luxury, e-commerce, or manufacturing sectors).
  • Strong experience in HR administration and employee lifecycle support.
  • Ability to manage EA style responsibilities and general office operations.
  • Comfortable supporting structured recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Proficiency with tools like Workable, LinkedIn Recruiter, Slack, Project Management softwares like Clickup, etc.
  • Excellent judgment, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in Jewellery, Luxury, E-commerce, or Manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience improving or redesigning onboarding programs.
  • Experience implementing HR or admin process improvements.
  • A startup mindset and comfort with dynamic, evolving responsibilities.
