1. Procurement Strategy:
Design and implementation of effective procurement strategies with the centralization of procurement of the organization. Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.2. Vendor Management:
Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.Monitor supplier performance with periodic review publication of supplier rating chart and enforce contract terms.Identify and onboard new suppliers when necessary.3. Inventory Management:
Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and operational requirements.Implement inventory control measures to minimize carrying costs and stockouts.4. Cost Control:
Analyze pricing trends, market conditions and cost structures to optimize procurement costs.Implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering programs.5. Compliance:
Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards.Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures.6. Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead a team of procurement professionals.Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations.7. Negotiation:
Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.Resolve disputes and issues with suppliers in a timely manner.8. Budget Management:
Develop and manage the procurement budget.Monitor expenditures and control costs effectively.9. Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure the quality of procured goods and services.Implement quality standards and supplier audits. Experience in the procurement of forgings, castings and other allied products
