Profile

  • Understand customer requirements, Analyse Performance Requirements and Compliance Requirements, finalize specifications, Initiate development, Prepare prototypes, test prototypes, Analyse results, Send samples to customer in time for qualification and commercialisation.
  • Ensure the new & existing products meet compliance requirements as per international standards.
  • Suggest alternative product path/Solutions
  • Conduct Trials of new materials, qualify them in Rope/Nets/Geotextile applications
  • Design New Products (Ropes/Net/GeoSynthetics) & Improve Existing Products to achieve profitability objectives
  • Respond to sales enquiries Ropes & Netting.
  • Provide performance data, specs, COA, Test Reports to Customers .
  • Resolve customer complaints.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure successful performance of our products in market
  • Maintaining Documentation of all results and testing done.
  • Participate in conference calls, Share results with Cross functional team
  • Collaborate with different functions like Quality, Operations, Procurement, External Testing Agencies
  • Prepare and submit monthly / weekly reports as needed time to time
  • Should be willing to travel to domestic as well as international locations
  • Should be willing to work from any location of the company (Indore/Vadodara/Silvassa)

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Textile Engineering or Polymer Engineering
  • M Tech/PhD Preferred
  • Min 5-6 years hands on experience in Polymer Extrusion, Twisting, Braiding, Warp Knitting, Coating Processes
  • Should have sufficient knowledge about polymeric products
  • Should have hands on knowledge about various industrial yarns like polyester, nylon, UHMWPE and their properties
  • Should have good operations processes knowledge
  • Should have excellent knowledge about testing of physical properties, chemical properties like tensile testing, FTIR, DSCI, Density, Melt Flow Index, etc
  • Should have working knowledge about the testing standards for physical properties
  • Should be good team player
  • Should be able to take initiative and drive projects independently
  • Should have good communication skills and should be hands on working with computer and different software platforms
