SAP Solution Architect: Presales and Delivery. Responsibilities :

  • Develop and define end-to-end SAP solution architectures, including system landscapes, integrations, and data flows.
  • Design and document detailed technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and solution blueprints.
  • Evaluate and recommend SAP products and technologies based on business requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Define and implement integration strategies between SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture designs.
  • Ensure solutions align with business goals, strategic initiatives, and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and coach junior architects and technical team members.
  • Resolve complex technical issues and challenges.
  • Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies, trends, and innovations.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and feasibility studies.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in SAP solution architecture.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with SAP implementations.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers.
  • Present architectural designs and recommendations to senior management.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and define solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including solution blueprints, design specifications, and technical guides.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Contribute to the development of internal best practices and standards.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

  • 12 years of experience as an SAP Solution Architect or similar role.
  • Deep understanding of SAP technologies and solutions, including S/4HANA, cloud solutions, and integration platforms.
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex SAP landscapes and architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (TOGAF).
  • Experience with various SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, HCM).
  • Proficiency in integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, APIs).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based SAP solutions.
  • Strong understanding of database systems and data modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
