MaawaabroITsolutions Pvt Ltd is building OTRAS — Online Test & Recruitment Automation System, a nationwide AI-powered one-time registration and applications platform for state and central government recruitment boards.

Our goal: eliminate redundancy in government recruitment, reduce fraud, and handle millions of applications with military-grade security and AI-driven automation.

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary CTO / Co-Founder to lead the technical strategy, architecture, and execution of OTRAS.

This is a co-founder equity role with long-term leadership opportunity, ideal for someone passionate about building nation-scale technology platforms.

You will own the entire technical lifecycle — from architecture to deployment — and ensure the platform meets government-grade compliance standards while scaling to millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect & Lead Development of the OTRAS one-time registration and applications system using Spring Boot (Java), React JS, microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Design for scalability (50+ crore annual records) and high availability (99.99% uptime).
  • Implement military-grade security — AES-256 encryption, TLS 1.3, MFA, RBAC, and Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Integrate Aadhaar/DigiLocker APIs and AI modules for fraud detection, identity verification, and OMR scanning.
  • Lead a team of backend, frontend, AI, and DevOps engineers; set coding standards and review architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, CERT-In, and Indian IT Act standards.
  • Manage technology budget, vendor partnerships, and government technical liaisons.
  • Own technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment pipelines.

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in leadership roles (Tech Lead, Head of Engineering, or CTO).
  • Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and React JS.
  • Proven experience in large-scale, high-security platforms (fintech, govtech, or enterprise SaaS preferred).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GovCloud, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AI integration (fraud detection, computer vision, NLP) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of database scaling (Postgres, MySQL, sharding, caching).
  • Excellent communication skills for government and investor presentations.
