Job Description — IT Manager (D365 F&O Focus)

Role & Responsibilities

· Lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) implementations across Finance, SCM, Projects, and Manufacturing.

· Translate Finance, Operations, and Compliance processes into standardized D365 configurations with minimal customizations and strong internal controls.

· Establish program governance for D365: RAID, scope control, sprint ceremonies, CAB, KPI/OKR tracking, and executive steering cadence.

· Define master data strategy, data quality rules, cleansing, migration waves, and reconciliation signoffs.

· Architect integrations between D365 and third-party systems using DMF, DualWrite, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Azure services with secure APIs.

· Design D365 security model, enable least-privilege access, periodic reviews, and audit readiness.

· Plan and execute cutover and hypercare; manage command center, incident response, and defect burndown.

· Drive change management and user adoption via training, SOPs, and Power BI dashboards.

· Oversee partner management, IT systems, and ITSM practices including helpdesk, incident, problem, and change management.

Platform-Specific Responsibilities

· D365 Solution Design: Lead fit–gap, blueprinting, and process harmonization across Finance, SCM, and Manufacturing.

· Data & Integrations: Own DMF packages, mock runs, reconciliation, and resilient integrations with monitoring and alerting.

· Security & Compliance: Implement role-based security, SoD controls, and fiscal compliance reporting.

· DevOps & Releases: Govern ALM with Azure DevOps and LCS deployments.

· Reporting & Insights: Deliver reporting via Electronic Reporting, BYOD, Dataverse, and Power BI.

· Training & Adoption: Build role-based curricula, guides, and track process conformance.

SharePoint and Collaboration

· Govern SharePoint Online for document management, records retention, metadata, and permissions.

· Build solutions using SharePoint Lists, Power Automate, and Power Apps for D365 adjunct workflows.

· Establish lifecycle policies and integrate with Teams for collaboration on D365 projects.

Network Security

· Own network security architecture: next-gen firewalls, VLAN segmentation, and Zero Trust access.

· Implement IDS/IPS, DNS security, and continuous rulebase hygiene.

· Manage VPN and remote access with MFA, device compliance, and vulnerability remediation.

Email Security

· Implement phishing protection, DMARC/DKIM/SPF, and anti-impersonation controls.

· Enforce Sophos Email Security policy, Safe Links, and DLP for financial/PII data.

· Conduct awareness campaigns and report risk reduction metrics.

NAS and Data Protection

· Design NAS file services with role-based access and auditing.

· Implement immutable backups, replication, and 3-2-1 backup strategy.

· Monitor storage performance, capacity, and growth forecasting.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance

· Establish IT/security policies aligned with ISO 27001 and statutory requirements.

· Coordinate audits for D365, M365, and network controls with remediation tracking.

· Maintain vendor due diligence, license compliance, and asset inventories.

Key Skills Required

· 7+ years in IT with 3–5 years leading ERP programs and 2+ full-cycle D365 F&O implementations.

· Strong knowledge of D365 modules, Azure DevOps, Power Platform, and integration patterns.

· Experience in M365 security, SharePoint governance, and Power Automate/Power Apps.

· Solid grounding in network/email security, MFA, DLP, and vulnerability management.

· NAS/storage administration, backup/DR strategies, and lifecycle management.

· Strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.

Performance Indicators

· On-time, on-budget D365 milestones and successful go-lives with controlled defect rates.

· Data migration accuracy, SoD/audit compliance, and adoption metrics.

· Reduction in security incidents and vulnerability backlog.

· SharePoint utilization and DR test success within RPO/RTO targets.
