About the role:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated
DevOps Intern
to join our technology team. As a DevOps Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in automation, deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring tools. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth operations, faster delivery cycles, and high system reliability.

Key Responsibility:

  • Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
  • Support the configuration and monitoring of cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Automate routine operational tasks using scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues in staging and production environments.
  • Document processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Help improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Good to have:

  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Prior internship/project experience in DevOps, cloud, or system administration.
