Job Description – Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman AutoCAD Designer with strong expertise in preparing technical drawings for retail, residential, commercial, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in drafting software, possess a strong understanding of design standards, and be able to collaborate with both design and site teams to deliver accurate and high-quality drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and revise 2D drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings as per project requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with the design and site teams for layout planning and documentation.
  • Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Assist engineers and architects by drafting detailed sections, elevations, plans, and other technical drawings.
  • Maintain systematic drawing records and efficiently manage revisions and updates.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp (or equivalent design/drafting tools)
  • Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP)
  • Retail store planning

  • Design standards and construction documentation

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant drafting experience (retail/residential/commercial/industrial projects preferred)
