To prepare detailed civil drawings as per project requirements using CAD and other relevant software. Ensure precision and adherence to project timelines and standards for residential and commercial real estate developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of Building Specifications & Codes: Analyze architectural specifications, building codes, and project sites to ensure precise translation of design intent into detailed drawings.
  • Preparation of Technical Drawings: Develop comprehensive technical drawings from architects' concepts, sketches, and design briefs, transforming preliminary ideas into executable plans.
  • Precision Drafting with CAD: Utilize advanced CAD software to produce accurate and detailed construction drawings, integrating exact dimensions, structural calculations, and code-compliant elements.
  • Production & Dissemination of Drawings: Generate high-quality schematic prints of CAD drawings for use by architects, project managers, structural engineers, and on-site construction teams.
  • 3D Modeling & BIM Integration: Input CAD data into Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems to develop 3D visualizations, enhancing spatial understanding and design coordination.
  • Documentation & Drafting Support: Prepare charts, registers, and drawing logs using a blend of CAD technology and traditional drafting techniques, ensuring proper documentation and version control.
  • Site Visits & Measurements: Conduct site visits to gather field data, verify measurements, and capture real-world conditions to inform and adjust design outputs as necessary.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with architects, structural and MEP engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure drawings align with approved specifications and comply with all relevant regulatory and safety standards.
  • Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in drafting, architectural design, and construction methodologies to enhance efficiency and output quality.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D), and knowledge of 3D software like SketchUp/Revit is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of civil and architectural detailing.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural and MEP drawings.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in drafting and documentation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering / ITI (Draughtsman Civil) from a recognized institute.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in real estate or construction industry.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in residential villa/apartment/township projects.
  • Exposure to high-rise building detailing and RCC/structural drawings.
  • Familiar with local municipal drawing standards and regulatory processes (BBMP, BDA, RERA, etc.).
