With 24/7 network operations centre (NOC) support and dedicated account management, Our Client delivers responsive service and technical expertise to meet evolving business needs. Their commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction positions them as a trusted partner in the telecom industry.
Our Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced International A2P Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales within the international SMS and messaging space, specifically targeting enterprises in the fintech, online gaming, e-commerce, logistics, and other enterprise sectors.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for international SMS and messaging services in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target international enterprises, with a focus on key regions including India, Central Asia, Middle East, Europe and North America.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential enterprise clients, SMS aggregators, CPaaS providers, Mobile Network Operators, and other relevant partners.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and ensure a competitive edge.
- Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, monitor sales performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Customer Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their messaging needs and tailor solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both parties.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as product development, data mining officer, marketing, and customer support to ensure seamless customer experience and successful service delivery.
You Must Have:
- 3+ years of SMS Account Management experience for Wholesale Clientele.
- SMS route procurement and interconnection with new carriers (MNO/ MVNO/Enterprises/farmers) towards generating A2P, P2P traffic & increasing revenue & profits.
- Managing existing agreements with carriers/ MNO/ MVNO partners for direct interconnection towards procuring Sim routes/0-HOP,1-HOP routes to see quality & route offering is improved from time to time.
- Establish and maintain clear procurement strategies and guidelines, working in conjunction with commercial, operations, finance and legal department and customer acquisition (new carrier addition & sign-ups).
- Excellent quality and vast number of interconnections globally and/or in a responsible region
- Able to understand and analyse the industry and market; collect and analyse information, facts / figures and quickly catch up on any complex issues
- Capacity of initiative, working with a high level of autonomy and result oriented, organized and careful with details
- Positive and problem-solving mindset
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
