JOB DESCRIPTION – ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

  1. Location:

Head Office

  1. Reporting To:

Quantity Surveyor / Billing Engineer / Project Manager

  1. salary

20k – 25k

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing BOQ, quantity calculations, and measurements from drawings and site.

  • Maintain daily site measurement records and verify quantities with site team and contractors.

  • Support in preparing running account (RA) bills for subcontractors and client billing support.

  • Assist in rate analysis for new items as per specifications and site execution.

  • Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to verify work progress and executed quantities.

  • Maintain proper documentation including measurement books, material reconciliation, and checklists.

  • Support in cost tracking, budgeting, and reconciliation with planning and accounts departments.

  • Assist in preparing and submitting weekly and monthly quantity and billing reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

  • Experience: 1–2 years (preferably in road/bridge construction projects).

  • Software Knowledge: MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), PDF editing, measurement tools.

  • Language: Proficient in Hindi and English.

  • Traits: Detail-oriented, numeric accuracy, site coordination ability, and time management
