  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and organized storage of pharmaceutical products.
  • Implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment that complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Managing inventory levels, including tracking stock, identifying discrepancies, and optimizing storage space.
  • Overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
  • Implementing and maintaining a robust inventory management system to track stock levels, expiration dates, and storage conditions.
  • Conducting cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Managing the disposal of damaged, expired, or obsolete materials.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders to customers.
  • Coordinating with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to fulfil customer orders efficiently.
  • Managing the dispatch of finished goods to various distribution channels.
  • Ensuring that all warehouse operations comply with relevant pharmaceutical regulations, including GMP, Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), and state licensing requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to all warehouse activities.
  • Preparing for and participating in audits related to warehouse operations.
  • Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for warehouse personnel.
  • Managing the security of the warehouse and its contents, including controlled substances.
  • Ensuring proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
  • Supervising and mentoring warehouse staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback to team members.
  • Ensuring that all warehouse personnel are adequately trained on SOPs and safety procedures.
  • Generating regular reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and performance metrics.
  • Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Analyzing market trends, comparing quotes, and optimizing purchasing.
  • Issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues.
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
  • Review quality of purchased products
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
