Our company seeks to hire a Technical Sales Engineer who will work alongside our sales team to help clients understand our products, generate sales leads, and meet their technical requirements and needs.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Technical Sales Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and Develop Technical Presentations: You will be in charge of creating and delivering technical presentations to explain our company's products to our customers. You must have the ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical customers.
  2. Discuss Requirements with Customers and Engineers: You must work closely with our customers and engineers to understand their technical requirements and provide sales support. In addition, you should have experience collaborating with sales teams to support customers throughout the sales process.
  3. Generate High-Quality Sales Leads: You will be responsible for identifying sales leads, including following up with potential customers to secure and renew orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for negotiating with customers, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
  4. Research, Develop, and Modify Products: You will be responsible for researching new products, developing modifications to existing products, and modifying existing products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs. This includes experience with problem-solving and recommending improved or upgraded materials.
  5. Provide Customer Support: You will also help customers who have problems with installed products by recommending improvements or upgrades. You will be responsible for soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
  6. Identify Areas for Improvement: You will identify areas for improvement and communicate these issues, as well as possible solutions, to upper management.
  7. Set Sales Goals and Quotas: You will be expected to set and achieve sales goals and quotas on a regular basis, and train other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of our company's products.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry.
  • Experience with Salesforce and other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
Required Skills
  • Expert knowledge of polymer products, including but not limited to materials, production processes, and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
