We are now looking for a Project Manager for PAC IPP (Packaging and Paper improvement project) service project deliveries in Asia Pacific Area and globally.

As a Project Manager you will lead and manage customer projects so that customers receive the specified deliveries according to contracts and in mutually agreed schedule. Your task is to ensure the best possible project profit and economic results by managing budget, schedules, cost estimations and invoicing. Your other main objective is to obtain high-level customer satisfaction and project´s quality standards. We see that you are stimulated by challenges and work result focused as a prerequisite for you to succeed in this role.

You will be responsible for customer negotiations, meetings and communication as well as leading our internal meetings. You will also manage project scheduling and follow-up, project risk management, progress reporting internally and externally, warranty time management and guarantee verification together with Technology Team. You will participate in site execution operations including installation, start-up and customer trainings.

You will belong to the team of Project Managers located in India and globally and you will work closely with our sales, engineering, purchasing, workshop and logistic organizations. You will report to Director Packaging and Paper Improvement projects.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position you should have

  • solid experience and knowledge (minimum 5 years) within technology industry participating in demanding customer projects
  • Practical hands-on knowledge is considered benefit
  • knowledge of paper, board and tissue machines & processes
  • skills to manage multi-technology and multinational projects and project teams
  • good decision making and change management skills and willingness to take the lead
  • ability to cope under stress and capability to work with many projects simultaneously
  • good social skills and communicative ability to be able to work in a global multicultural environment
  • business financial understanding for decision making and management purposes
  • good oral and written English skills, other languages are a benefit
  • A technical education (M.Sc., B Sc. or corresponding)
