  • Specimen analysis: Receive, label, prepare, and analyze biological samples such as blood, urine, and tissue.
  • Diagnostic testing: Perform routine and specialized tests according to established procedures and protocols to identify and diagnose diseases.
  • Equipment management: Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment, including complex automated analyzers.
  • Data recording and reporting: Accurately record all test data and results, and report findings to physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Quality control: Participate in quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of test results.
  • Safety and compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and regulations, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inventory and stock management: Monitor and manage laboratory supplies, ordering replacements as needed.
  • Collaboration and support: Work with other laboratory personnel, assist with training junior staff or students, and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
