We're Hiring: Plastic & Rubber Testing Engineer at Metalab
Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for materials testing and quality assurance? Metalab, a NABL-accredited laboratory, is seeking a dedicated Plastic & Rubber Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll contribute to high-quality testing services across industries like automotive, construction, and polymers, while ensuring compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and supervise testing of plastics and rubber materials, including Density, Specific Gravity, Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), and other relevant procedures.
- Review and verify test reports in accordance with standards such as IS, ASTM, and ISO.
- Prepare and maintain NABL documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and calibration records.
- Support internal audits, uncertainty calculations, and method validation processes.
- Coordinate with clients to address queries and ensure full compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
Requirements:
- ITI, Diploma, or B.E./B.Tech in Polymer Engineering, Plastics Technology, Rubber Technology, or Metallurgy.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a NABL-accredited environment.
- Strong knowledge of testing standards (IS/ASTM/ISO) and ISO/IEC 17025 documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in technical documentation.
