Position Overview

As a
Design Engineer
, you will design and develop advanced
plastic recycling machinery
, including
part development and machine assembly drawings
. You will work closely with
R&D, production, and manufacturing teams
to ensure designs meet
international engineering standards
. Engineers at Gaurav follow our
rigorous 17-stage design development cycle
, ensuring precision and excellence at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and modify
    3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings
    using
    SolidWorks
    .
  • Prepare
    part development and machine assembly drawings
    with clear documentation.
  • Maintain accurate
    design logs
    throughout the design cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with
    tolerances, GD&T, and manufacturability standards
    .
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize designs and support
    assembly, testing, and commissioning
    .
  • Contribute to innovation and improvements in design and engineering processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field
    .
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in SolidWorks
    for industrial machinery.
  • Strong skills in
    part development, assembly drawings, and interpreting tolerances
    .
  • Nice to have:
    Experience with
    plastic extrusion, molding, or converting machinery
    .
  • Understanding of
    manufacturing processes, GD&T, and product lifecycle management
    .
