Yotta Data Services is looking for a Pipeline Technical Director (TD) / Pipeline Developer with strong Python skills and experience integrating tools across major DCC applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our production pipeline — ensuring efficient workflows between departments and smooth rendering processes across multiple software environments.

About the Role
: Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain tools and scripts to improve production efficiency across DCCs such as Maya, Nuke, Katana, Houdini, and Unreal Engine.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues quickly to minimize production downtime.
  • Implement and manage rendering pipelines, including automation, asset management, and render farm integration.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation for tools, APIs, and pipeline processes.
  • Work closely with IT and pipeline teams to ensure compatibility and performance across the studio's infrastructure.

Qualifications
:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with object-oriented programming principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Maya, Nuke, Katana, Houdini, or Unreal Engine APIs.
  • Proven experience in rendering pipeline development and management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies and file transfer protocols.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support artists and developers alike.

Preferred Skills
:

  • Understanding of computer graphics fundamentals (rendering, shading, compositing).
