Job Summary:

Ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards by conducting inspections, tests, and audits. Identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with production teams to maintain high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform dimensional checks using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.).
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, quality standards, and specifications.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly quality reports to management.
  • Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and company SOPs.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and design teams for quality improvements.
  • Liaise with external vendors/customers for quality audits or issue resolution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework.
  • Train operators and staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering OR ITI (Quality/Mechanical-related trades).
  • Experience: 2–4 years in quality assurance/inspection in manufacturing or engineering industry.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with measuring instruments & inspection methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO standards, quality documentation, and reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Office/Basic computer skills.
