Position Summary

The Director of Project Management will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects across the organization. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in project governance, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in building and managing a high-performing PMO, ensuring that all projects align with corporate strategy and are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the global Project Management Office (PMO), setting standards for project execution, governance, and reporting.

Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Partner with executive leadership to define strategic priorities, allocate resources, and manage project portfolios.

Implement project management methodologies, best practices, and tools to improve operational efficiency and predictability.

Drive stakeholder alignment across business units, ensuring transparency and effective communication.

Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks proactively.

Mentor and develop project managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Monitor project performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Ensure all projects adhere to compliance, quality, and governance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

15+ years of progressive project management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional, and high-impact projects.

Strong understanding of PMO frameworks, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification preferred.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
