Detailed JD:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Oracle EDMCS, including its various features and functionalities.
  • Functional Knowledge: Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Consulting: Ability to advise and influence stakeholders on technical solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Data Types: Understanding of different data types and how they are used in EDMCS.
  • Migration: Experience with migrating EDMCS environments.

Key areas of focus:

  • Applications, Dimensions, Node Types, Node Sets: Understanding how these components work within EDMCS to manage data hierarchies and relationships.
  • Hierarchy Sets, Views, and Viewpoints: Ability to define and manage the structure and presentation of data within EDMCS.
  • Access Controls: Managing user access and permissions within EDMCS.
  • Reporting: Creating and managing reports for data analysis and monitoring.
  • Subscriptions and Converters: Understanding how to manage subscriptions and data conversions within EDMCS.
  • Validations, Policies, and Audits: Ensuring data quality and compliance through validations, policies, and audit trails.
  • Integrations: Connecting EDMCS with other systems through EPM connect or other methods.
