Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Azure Administrator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You'll work on a variety of client-facing projects, supporting cloud migrations, infrastructure automation, and service optimisation. The role involves hands-on delivery, technical troubleshooting, and collaboration across teams to design and implement scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and support infrastructure solutions across Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, and Office365.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, and ARM templates.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Ansible for automation 
• Deploy and manage Azure Landing Zones, App Gateways, NSGs, and WAFs 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Networking, and Security.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery technologies
• Participate in Well-Architected Reviews, cost optimisation, and AVD estate tuning 
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement them in structured ITIL/ISO20000 environments.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and tooling initiatives

• Automation & IaC: Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, PowerShell, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
• Networking & Security: Azure Networking, vNets, NSGs, WAFs
• Monitoring & Logging: Opsview, New Relic, Splunk, Azure Monitor
• Virtualisation: VMware, Hyper-V
• OS & Identity: Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP
• Data & Reporting: Monitoring tools, Excel Dashboards, Service Now
• Project Tools: ServiceNow, ITSM, Agile/PRINCE2 environments

Desirable Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Azure Security Engineer / Azure Solutions Architect
• AZ-800, AZ-104*, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-801, AZ-140
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate
• ITIL Foundation v4
• PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner (optional)

What You'll Bring

• 4–6 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud consulting.
• Strong technical background in VMware, Windows Server, Hyper-V, and traditional infrastructure
• Hands-on, proactive attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting multiple clients and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
