Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Azure / IIS Administrator
with a strong background in
Windows Server (Wintel) administration
,
IIS troubleshooting
, and
Azure cloud management
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-scale Windows and Azure environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and security of hosted applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain
    Microsoft IIS web servers
    across production and staging environments.
  • Perform
    Windows Server troubleshooting
    , patching, and performance tuning (2016/2019/2022).
  • Deploy and manage
    web applications and APIs
    hosted on IIS, ensuring uptime and reliability.
  • Automate operational tasks using
    PowerShell scripts
    to streamline deployments, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Manage and optimize
    Azure infrastructure
    , including virtual machines, networking, and storage services.
  • Implement
    backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions
    for cloud and on-prem workloads.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and performance of web applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot
    application performance, event logs, and service dependencies
    .
  • Maintain security compliance through access control, patch management, and configuration reviews.
  • Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in
    Windows Server administration (Wintel)
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    IIS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
    .
  • Proficiency in
    PowerShell scripting
    for automation and system administration tasks.
  • Working knowledge of
    Microsoft Azure services
    (VMs, Networking, App Services, Monitoring, Backup).
  • Experience with
    Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
    .
  • Familiarity with
    load balancing, SSL certificates, and web application security
    .
  • Good understanding of
    TCP/IP, networking fundamentals
    , and performance optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
