Role Description
The
Social Media Strategist
will manage and grow the digital presence of
multiple clients and in-house brands
across platforms. The role involves crafting platform-first strategies, seasonal campaigns, and community-driven initiatives that align with business goals. Strong copywriting skills and UGC-led storytelling will be key to driving engagement and authenticity. The strategist will monitor performance through analytics, stay ahead of trends, and optimize strategies for impact. Close collaboration with clients and internal teams will ensure seamless execution of high-quality, result-driven campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Social Media Management
●Manage end-to-end social media for multiple client brands across platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora, Reddit, and more.
● Align social media strategies with each client's unique business goals and brand objectives.
● Continuously develop platform-first strategies, campaigns, and engagement initiatives to improve performance.
● Build and maintain monthly social media calendars tailored to client brands.
● Launch seasonal and high-impact campaigns that drive reach, engagement, and community-led interactions.
● Write impactful, platform-specific copy that captures brand voice and drives conversations across posts, ads, and campaigns.
● Conceptualize and create user-generated content (UGC) formats to strengthen authenticity, community connection, and brand advocacy.
● Leverage tools like Hootsuite, ORM platforms, and analytics dashboards to monitor, optimize, and report performance.
● Play an active role in crafting innovative proposals to pitch and onboard new social media clients.
2. In-House Brand Management
● Develop and manage social media calendars across platforms for Mad Influence's in-house brands.
● Strategize and execute high-engagement campaigns tailored to brand identity and audience behavior.
● Ideate and launch creator IPs to grow brand presence and strengthen the creator network.
● Conceptualize and write engaging emailers using email marketing tools to communicate with relevant stakeholders.
3. Insights & Analytics
● Stay up-to-date with platform trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to keep strategies fresh and effective.
● Track, analyze, and report performance metrics, providing actionable insights for optimization.
4. Client & Team Collaboration
● Work closely with clients to understand their vision and convert it into actionable social strategies.
● Present campaign ideas, performance insights, and strategic recommendations clearly and confidently.
● Collaborate with internal teams—designers, editors, brand managers, and ops—to ensure flawless execution.
Qualifications:
· Experience: 2-3 years in social media strategy or a similar role, with proven experience managing social media for multiple brands. A minimum of 1 year of agency experience is mandatory.
· Skills:
o Expertise in Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora, Reddit and other social media platforms.
o Strong understanding of social media algorithms, audience behavior, and content optimization.
o Ability to create compelling social media calendars, seasonal campaigns, and community-driven initiatives.
o Experience in managing creator IPs and expanding creator networks.
o Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and third party social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
o Exceptional creative, strategic, and analytical skills.
·Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with clients, internal teams, and external collaborators, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of social media campaigns.
· Tools: Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva) and basic video editing skills are a plus.
