Position Summary

As an SEO Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to improve our organic search rankings, increase traffic to our website, and optimize our content for users and search engines alike. You will work closely with content creators, developers, product managers, and digital marketers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct keyword research to identify high-value terms relevant to travel and tourism trends.

· Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to drive qualified traffic and improve search rankings.

· Audit and optimize existing website pages, blog posts, and landing pages for SEO performance.

· Collaborate with content and editorial teams to create SEO-optimized articles, destination guides, and itineraries.

· Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and GA4.

· Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in content or backlinks.

· Work with the web development team to ensure technical SEO best practices (site speed, structured data, mobile friendliness, etc.).

· Stay up to date with the latest search engine algorithm changes and travel-related search trends.

Requirements:

· 6 months+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in the travel industry.

· Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.

· Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.

· Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Passion for travel and familiarity with global destinations and travel trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with international SEO and multilingual websites.

· Familiarity with schema markup and structured data.

· Basic knowledge of paid search (PPC) and how it complements organic efforts.
