Social Media Manager – Learner Circle (Startup Role)

Location: Remote

Type: Full-time

Experience: 2–4 years (creative brands/edtech preferred)

About Learner Circle

Learner Circle is a lean, ambitious edtech + publishing startup helping children (8–18) write, publish, and launch their own books at global platforms like Sharjah, London & Chennai Book Fair. We are a small team with a big mission — building Young Authors, Global Creators.

• Shape brand voice from scratch
• Build communities, not just followers

• Drive quality leads through storytelling

Key Responsibilities Build a Growth-Driven Content Engine

• Plan performance + storytelling content calendars.
• Align content with revenue funnels (workshops → publishing → book launch events).
• Collaborate with Sales + Ops to understand what parents want.

Create Content That Converts

• Craft strong narrative-based captions & scripts.
• Build reels/testimonials that parents emotionally connect to.
• Repurpose content across Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, LinkedIn.

Growth + Community Building

• Grow the Young Authors movement through communities:
• Parents groups
• Creative writing clubs
• School outreach stories
• Track growth KPIs (reach, engagement, lead quality, event sign-ups).

Event-Based Marketing

• Turn book launches, workshops, and author wins into campaigns.
• Plan onsite content capture → quick editing → same-day posting.

Startup Metrics & Accountability

• Weekly growth review (what worked, what didn't, why).
• Experiment with formats, hooks, storytelling angles.
• Suggest ideas beyond scope — ads, landing pages, website edits, etc.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong storytelling & copywriting (parent-focused).
• One-person content army mindset: idea → script → production brief.
• Basic editing capability (Canva/Reels).
• Data-driven mindset: knows how to interpret analytics.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environment with ownership.

Good-to-Have (Plus Points)

• Experience in children's brands/edtech/publishing.
• On-ground shoot coordination experience.
• Ability to take interviews (child/parent testimonials).
