As part of our further expansion and growth plans, we are looking to hire an aggressive and dynamic Marketing Professional (Executive / Sr. Executive) who will assume the Sales & Marketing responsibility for the Australia and New Zealand Markets specifically for our Finished Formulations Business.
This position is based at our Corporate Office at Nariman Point in Mumbai and will report into the Manager International Marketing.
The remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbent's professional experience and will be in line with market standards.
Essential skills and experience:
The incumbent must have at least 1-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry handling international business development and marketing for regulated markets. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for:
- Lead commercial negotiations, develop business cases, and coordinate agreements.
- Generate new leads by identifying and evaluating potential partners (new or existing) for open product opportunities.
- Manage existing customer relationships, address queries, and coordinate internally to ensure smooth engagement.
- Conduct country-specific analysis to build market insights and keep trends updated regularly.
- Track market intelligence by monitoring competitors, products, and partners across key territories using IQVIA, Export data.
- Coordinate portfolio planning by assessing market opportunities and defining short- and long-term product pipelines.
Operational & Project Management
- End-to-end product life cycle management from product launches, demand & delivery planning for existing products to its financial realisation in UMEDICA's product portfolio.
- Oversee product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams activities targeting top-line and bottom-line growth in the region
- Track and manage the financial transactions with support from the finance and accounts team for milestones, invoices & profit payments;
- Track and monitor project progress with Project Management Teams to support timely decision-making.
- Maintain and enhance internal processes (agreement trackers, milestone trackers, partner presentations, cashflow sheets, etc.) to ensure operational efficiency.
Preferred Education requirements: Bachelor's in pharmacy or related science discipline. Candidate having a post-graduation degree (i.e. MBA) will be preferred.
