Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager / AGM / DGM / GM Business Development (Power Trading)
Location: New Delhi
Experience: 315+ years (role level dependent; Manager 58 yrs, Sr Manager 8–10 yrs, AGM/DGM/GM 10–15+ yrs)
Domain: Power Trading, Energy Markets, Power Procurement, Short-term & Long-term trading

I. Basic Mission
To develop and manage the business development of company's products creatively and to increase market share across north segments & geography with a healthy margin and growing sales funnel, to achieve overall strategic objective of the department.
II. Main responsibilities:
- Should be aware with the CERC/ SERC Regulations
- Should have worked/ interacted with the utilities/ Discom personnels/ Industrial clients and have good relations with the generators.
- Skilled in Business development, strategic planning, Power portfolio management, Regulatory affairs, Cost optimization with innovative power solutions.
- Experience in optimizing power purchase cost, driving operational efficiency, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Analysis of power requirement and deficit scenario of Discoms.
- Handling the Power management & Power planning, Renewable Energy Procurement, Power Market operations (Power Exchanges & Banking/Bilateral).
- Maintaining excellent client relationship for repeat business.
- Monitoring competition and business mapping
III. Key Competencies and skills required:
- 3-15 years of experience.
- Should be able to understand the techno commercial aspects of power trading business.
- Should be excellent in communication skills, MS-Office (Excel, Word, PPT), relationship development and business generation follow-up.
- Should be willing to undertake extensive travel to client offices and sites.
- Team leader.
- Openly communicates to the team in an enthusiastic and motivated manner.
- Positive 'can do' attitude.
- Self-motivated – ability to manage campaigns with minimum of supervision.
- Candidate must be open to travel across India depending upon business needs.
