  • Procurement & Sourcing Operations: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from receiving material requisitions (MRs) to final delivery and invoice processing.
  • Source and procure technical spares, valves, machinery parts, electrical systems, safety gear, and subcontracted services.
  • Translate engineering and technical specifications into accurate sourcing requirements.
  • Vendor Management & Negotiation:
  • Identify, qualify, and develop a robust network of local and international suppliers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and ship chandlers.
  • Conduct vendor benchmarking, evaluate bids (RFQs), negotiate pricing, terms, and warranties to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness (TCO).
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage non-conforming materials or service issues.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance (QA/QC):
  • Ensure all procured items and services adhere to marine/classification society standards (e.g., DNV, ABS, BV, Lloyd's) and company HSE requirements.
  • Coordinate with Management, Operations and Quality control teams to ensure compliance.
  • Logistics & Inventory Control:
  • Oversee logistics, including transportation, customs clearance, import/export documentation, and delivery to vessels or shipyards.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams for receiving, inspection, and inventory management.
  • Manage urgent shipments for critical operational needs or breakdown situations.
  • Cost Management & Reporting:
  • Track procurement costs, identify savings opportunities, and prepare periodic reports and budget analyses for management.
  • Maintain procurement records and manage purchase orders .
  • Working Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (e.g., SAP, Oracle, AMOS, NetSuite) would be desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
