We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting principles, experience working with international organizations, and expertise in software/SaaS revenue recognition under ASC 606.

You will be responsible for overseeing daily bookkeeping operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and is essential.

Role & responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records in QuickBooks Online.
  • Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable through
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and dashboards.
  • Handle journal entries, accruals, and deferred revenue schedules.
  • Manage multi-entity and multi-currency accounting operations.
  • Ensure proper revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, especially for SaaS contracts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across different countries and time zones.
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc projects and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 to 9 years of full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition for SaaS companies.
  • Experience working in an international business environment.
  • Proficient in managing multi-currency transactions and consolidations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • CPA or relevant certification is a plus but not required.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Familiarity with subscription billing tools or ERP systems.
  • Experience with multi currency accounting and global consolidations.
  • Prior work in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
