Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with 4–5 years of relevant experience to join our finance team. This role focuses on the consolidation of financial statements, intercompany reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal finance teams and external auditors to deliver accurate and timely consolidated financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, Segment Reporting, and Notes to Accounts.
- Support the development and review of working papers and schedules for consolidation entries and adjustments.
- Coordinate with country-level finance teams and the corporate office to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Analyze accounting treatments for areas such as foreign exchange impacts, lease accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in consolidation activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4–5 years of experience in financial consolidation, group reporting, or related functions.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and/or Ind AS.
- Experience working in multinational or multi-entity environments.
- Familiarity with consolidation tools such as Hyperion, SAP BPC, Oracle, or OneStream is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage complex accounting issues related to consolidation and group reporting.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders, including subsidiaries and auditors.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
