The Role

We're looking for a Technical Assistant to join our Technical Services Department in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in document management, operations support, and equipment management & calibration activities. This role requires excellent coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage technical and administrative functions efficiently.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow departmental policies and procedures to ensure consistent and accurate work.
  • Manage and maintain all project and operational documents in compliance with company standards.
  • Handle client and classification society correspondence effectively.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, including calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
  • Support local procurement and purchase of consumables for daily operations.
  • Coordinate travel-related activities such as visa processing and ticketing (as required).
  • Ensure compliance with document management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee team logistics, including departure and arrival formalities.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations and ensure smooth workflow within the technical services department.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with immigration rules and other operational protocols.

What You'll Need

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Diploma in Relevant field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Technical Inspection Industry
  • Document Management and Compliance certification.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS-Office
  • Knowledge of calibration and maintenance of inspection tools
  • Manging travel correspondence, including visa processing and ticketing.
  • Understanding of immigration rules and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9, ₹40,000.00 per month
