AS Database Administrator Responsibilities

  • Design, install, configure, and maintain databases in SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL environments.
  • Monitor database systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and data integrity.
  • Perform regular database backups and implement recovery procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand database requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, optimizing queries, and fine-tuning configurations.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including errors, connectivity problems, and data inconsistencies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to database design, configuration, and processes.
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and implement effective ETL processes and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Create and maintain SSIS packages for data integration and transformation.

  • Design and develop reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders. Excel and other reporters.
  • Familiarity with REST API, JSON, SOAP, and Liquid to integrate databases with other systems and applications.
  • Familiarity to use Link Server in SQL server.

As Developer

Languages & Frameworks:

  • C# (ASP.NET WebForms)
  • JavaScript (ES5/ES6), jQuery
  • AJAX (asynchronous requests, partial page updates)
  • CSS3 (custom styling, responsive layouts)
  • Bootstrap 3.3 (grid system, UI components)

Web Development Expertise:

  • Building and maintaining ASP.NET WebForms applications
  • Creating reusable user controls (ASCX) and master pages
  • Implementing AJAX Control Toolkit for improved interactivity
  • Responsive UI/UX design with Bootstrap and custom CSS
  • Client-side validation and interactivity with JavaScript/jQuery

Tools & Platforms:

  • Visual Studio 2017
  • IIS (Internet Information Services)
  • SQL Server (basic integration for WebForms applications)
  • Azure Dev or at list Git (version control)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Database Administrator, specifically with SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL at least 5 years of experience with SQL server.
  • Proven work experience as Web developer at least 5 years in C# projects with Webforms , CSS, MVC, Bootstraps 3.3 using control version Azure Dev or Git
  • Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database management.
  • Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with REST API, JSON, SOAP, and Liquid for integration purposes.
  • Solid understanding of database security and backup procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
