Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Qad Database Administrator located in Pune. The Qad Database Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining databases to ensure high availability, security, and performance. Daily tasks include database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup, and recovery. The role involves performance tuning, query optimization, and ensuring database compliance with security policies. The Qad Database Administrator will also collaborate with teams to provide technical solutions and support.

Qualifications

  • Experience with database management and maintenance: installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup, and recovery
  • Proficient in performance tuning and query optimization
  • Knowledge of database security policies and compliance standards
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work in an on-site role located in Pune
  • Relevant certifications in database management are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
